Tobermory 12 Year Old is an unpeated single malt from the distillery on the Isle of Mull, bottled at 46.3%. It was matured for 12 years in American oak, using both first-fill and virgin casks, and is bottled with natural colour and without chill-filtration.
The distillery has stood on Mull since 1788 and is the only one on the island.
The nose is fresh and fruity, with orange and peach and a lift of grapefruit. The palate has lively fruit and spice, a discreet saltiness, and notes of caramel and vanilla. The finish is long, with richness and warm spice.
