A limited edition 17 year old single malt from Tobermory, the distillery on the Hebridean island of Mull. It matured in Oloroso casks and is bottled at 55.9% in a 70cl bottle.
The colour is yellow gold. The nose is rich in caramel and toffee, followed by almonds, blackcurrants and a hint of spice. The palate offers rose petals, tropical fruit, walnuts, cherry and creamy toffee, rounded with oak, tannins and a touch of leather. The finish is unusually dry and nutty, with a ginger spiciness.
