This is an 18 year old single malt from Tobermory on the Isle of Mull, matured in ex-bourbon casks and bottled in 2018 at 46.1% ABV. It is a hand-filled release, with approximately 3,000 bottles produced, in a 70cl bottle.
Pear and ripe mango lead the nose, with dark cherries, ginger, fresh mint and toasted oak. The palate is creamy and rich, with apricot, almond, honeyed figs and white pepper. The medium-long finish has sweet tobacco and dark chocolate, with sweet and salty notes before a dry close.
