Tobermory – 18 Years (70cl, 46.3%)

Tobermory 18 Years is a single malt made on the Isle of Mull from unpeated barley, using water from the distillery's own spring. It was matured for over 18 years in American white oak casks, first on the mainland and then in the maritime climate of Mull. It is bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The nose brings golden syrup, pieces of pineapple, toasted walnut and sponge biscuit. On the palate there is toffee ice cream with chocolate sauce and chopped almonds. The finish is fresh barley and black pepper, with a refreshing sweetness.
