It was distilled in June 2007 and matured for 16 years entirely in a refill sherry butt, then bottled in March 2024 by Hunter Laing as part of its Old Malt Cask range. It is edition 3 of 4 in the One Of A Kind series, a single cask limited to 742 bottles at 50% ABV, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The nose is fruity, smoky and warmly spiced. The finish is long, with lingering sweetness and smoke.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
