This is a 23 year old single malt from Tobermory, bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited release and the whisky is unpeated.
Eight of those years were spent maturing in Oloroso sherry casks, and the sherry influence is plain throughout, alongside salted toffee and floral honey.
The nose is vanilla, ripe oranges, toasted barley and rich fruitcake, with a hint of cocoa. On the palate come salted toffee, vanilla fudge, spicy oak and candied citrus. The finish is caramelised walnuts with a subtle salty note.
