This is a 23 year old single malt from Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull. The whisky was first released in 2008 as part of the Tobermory 15 Year Old, and the remaining parcel has since been matured for several more years.
It was aged in refill hogsheads and then finished in Gonzalez Byass sherry casks, an Oloroso finish. The sherry wood is described as adding a sweet, nutty influence to Tobermory's island style.
