Tobermory – 25 Year Old 1996 Vintage Single Malt (70cl, 48.1%)

This is a 25 year old vintage single malt from Tobermory, the only distillery on the Isle of Mull. It was distilled in 1996 and bottled at 48.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle, with natural colour and without chill filtration. Tobermory was founded in 1798 and makes both an unpeated range under its own name and the heavily peated Ledaig. The whisky is described as showing orchard fruit, honeyed sweetness, tropical fruit, vanilla, dark chocolate, citrus, toasted oak and a coastal, mineral note.
