Tobermory – 25 Year Old Expression 3 Oloroso Sherry Cask Finish (70cl, 48.1%)

This is a 25-year-old Island single malt from Tobermory, released by the distillery in 2023 as Expression 3 in the Hebridean Series. It is a limited edition of 5298 bottles. The whisky comes from casks originally earmarked to become a 15-year-old, which were instead moved into Oloroso sherry casks from Gonzalez Byass. It has had around ten years of secondary maturation in them. It is bottled at its natural cask strength of 48.1%, without colouring or chill filtration, in a 70cl bottle.
