This is a 25 year old Tobermory bottled for the Eye for Spirits Edition II, in a 70cl bottle at 53.9% ABV. It is a single cask release, one of 272 bottles.
The whisky was distilled on 14 December 1995 and matured in a hogshead for 25 years before bottling on 13 May 2021.
The nose combines pear, apple and other white fruits with dates and a spicy, slightly woody note. On the palate there are raisins, malt and roasted tones, with a little leather and coffee. The finish is long, with brioche and red fruits.
