Togouchi 15 Years is a Japanese blended whisky from Chugoku Jozo, in a 70cl bottle. It is blended in Japan from Scottish single malts and Canadian grain whisky. The whisky matures for 15 years in ex-sherry oak casks, kept in a disused railway tunnel in the town of Togouchi. The nose is delicate and elegant, with sweet fruit, then fresh spice, citrus and vanilla. The palate is elegant, complex, soft and lingering, with toasted, lightly smoky notes tempered by sweet vanilla. It ends on bitter chocolate and sweet vanilla.
