Togouchi Kiwami (70cl)

Togouchi Kiwami is a Japanese whisky from Chugoku Jozo, a house with a background in shochu and sake that also draws on Scottish techniques. Kiwami means supreme in Japanese. The whisky ages in a 361-metre tunnel dug in 1970 at the foot of Mount Osorakan, where the temperature holds at 14°C and the humidity at 80%, which limits the influence of the wood. The water comes from the Sandankyo mountains, and the whisky is aged, blended and diluted in Japan.
