This is a Tomatin 10 year old Highland malt Scotch whisky, distilled in 1973 and bottled in 1983. It comes in a 75cl bottle at 40% ABV. Tomatin was once the largest distillery in Scotland. An expansion in 1976 took it to 23 stills, with a capacity of 10 million litres, but it never ran at full capacity and went into liquidation in 1985. The following year a consortium of long-term customers rescued it, and it became the first Japanese-owned distillery in Scotland. Today it supplies the heart of the Antiquary blend as well as its own single malt.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
