This is the Barolo edition of Tomatin's Italian Collection, a 12 year old single malt in a 70cl bottle. The spirit was distilled on 6th December 2010 and laid down in traditional Scotch whisky oak casks for ten years.
On 10th February 2021 it was moved into Barolo wine casks for a further two years.
Mulled wine and dark chocolate lead the nose. The palate offers spiced mead with cranberry and fresh grapefruit, and the finish carries light tannin and sugared almonds.
