This is a 12 year old Tomatin single malt from the French Collection, finished in a Rivesaltes cask and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The spirit was distilled in September 2008, moved into a Rivesaltes cask in July 2017 and bottled in March 2021. The distillery's fresh fruit character is paired with the sweet, nutty flavour the Rivesaltes wine is known for.
On the palate, sweet and bitter notes contrast, held together by an underlying taste of barley. The finish is velvety and the flavour stays on the palate for some time.
