Tomatin 12 Year Old Sherry Cask is a Highland single malt from Tomatin Distillery, bottled at 40% (80 proof) in a 700ml bottle.
All twelve years are spent in sherry casks, so this is a full sherry maturation rather than a finish.
Caramelised apple and pear lead the nose, with sultana, orange peel, apricot and hints of aged leather. The palate moves to chocolate fudge and manuka honey, layered with dried fruit and nut. The finish is warm and round, closing on sweet cinnamon spice.
