This is a 12 year old Tomatin from the French Collection, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in May 2008, moved into a Cognac cask in November 2018 and bottled in March 2021, with an outturn of 6000 bottles.
The nose is fresh, with fruit and floral notes, including lavender and Scottish heather. The palate brings cranberry, orange peel and rosewater alongside well-balanced spice. The French oak gives a long finish of Earl Grey tea and poached pears.
