Tomatin Cù Bòcan 1998 is a limited edition, cask strength single malt. This bottle is numbered 0479 of an outturn of 2200.
The nose opens with delicate campfire smoke and sweet ash, followed by stewed pears, peach melba and toasted coconut, with fresh cut grass, heather, cereal and creamy buttermilk in the background. On the palate, candied tropical fruit meets an earthy, peaty tang, before dried fruit, blood orange and a gentle nut note appear. The finish is earthy smoke and oak spice with a creamy texture.
