This is a 12 year old Tomatin from the French Collection, bottled at 46% ABV. The spirit was distilled in April 2008, moved into a Monbazillac cask in July 2017 and bottled in March 2021, with an outturn of 6000 bottles.
The nose combines dark maple syrup, intense espresso and cinnamon-baked apples. On the palate there is sweet grain with sweet milk chocolate and beeswax, followed by subtle spice and nuttiness. The finish is rich, with walnut and maple syrup.
