Tomintoul First Cask 10 Years Old is a single malt from the Speyside distillery Tomintoul, released by the Dutch bottler Whisky Import Nederland as part of its First Cask series. It was distilled in 2010, matured for 10 years in a bourbon hogshead and bottled in 2020 at a cask strength of 56.1%. Only 302 bottles were released.
Tomintoul stands on the Glenlivet Estate and was founded in 1964. A second pair of stills was added ten years later, doubling its capacity. Its whiskies are known as smooth and mellow, which has earned the single malt the nickname the gentle dram.
