Tomintoul 16 Year Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. It was matured in American oak casks.
Tomintoul is known as the gentle dram, and the distillery stands near the Cairngorms National Park. This sixteen-year-old is described as soft and approachable, with fruit, honeyed sweetness and delicate spice.
The nose brings honey, vanilla pods, orchard fruits and soft toasted oak. On the palate come caramel, baked apple, malted barley and gentle spice, and the finish is long and warming with sweet oak and vanilla.
