Tomintoul Peated is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is made from peated malted barley, which is unusual for the district and adds a smoky side to the region's usual character.
The nose offers gentle peat smoke with honey, vanilla and citrus. On the palate come malted barley, heather and spice, with soft oak and a lingering smokiness. The finish is smooth but lively, with a slight sweetness that fades into a faint trace of peat.
