Tomintoul Small Batch Caribbean Rum Cask is a single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, created by Tomintoul Master Distiller Robert Fleming.
He selected Tomintoul aged in ex-bourbon American oak casks, then married it and finished it in hand-selected Caribbean rum barrels.
The nose is fresh and bright, with raspberry blossom, coconut oil, Parma violets and custard Danish. The palate offers muscovado sugar, iced buns and cinder toffee, bound with lotus biscuits, nougat and coconut cream. The finish is sweet butterscotch and chocolate eclairs, fading into a warming cake spice.
