Tommasi Merlot la Selezione Le Prunee

A Merlot from Tommasi, made in the Veneto region. It is aged in oak barrels, giving structure and complexity without covering the grape's natural notes. The nose shows ripe red fruits such as cherries and plums, with delicate spicy nuances and a light toasted note. On the palate it is enveloping, rich and soft, with well-balanced tannins and a persistent finish. It suits roast meats, aged cheeses and typical Venetian dishes.
