Allt Gleann is a peated single malt Scotch from Torabhaig, part of its Legacy Series, in a 750ml bottle.
The nose combines woody tobacco, vanilla shortbread, earthy peat smoke, lemon zest and smoked shellfish, with blossom honey and salty sea air. On the palate the peat is bolder, with coastal tar, an oily texture, salted roasted nuts, fennel, pepper and a medicinal undertone.
The finish turns sweeter, with apple and kiwi, vanilla oak and a floral touch, before peat smoke, sea salt and a briny harbourside character return.
