Torabhaig Legacy Series Chapter No 3 Cnoc Na Moine is an Island single malt Scotch whisky from Skye, in a 750ml bottle at 46% ABV. It is the third chapter of the distillery's Legacy Series and its first sherry-cask-matured release, limited to 90,000 bottles. The whisky is fully matured in ex-bourbon American oak plus Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, rather than finished in them. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour, peated to 78.4 ppm in the spirit and 19.7 ppm in the bottle. The name is Gaelic for hill of peat. The nose combines subdued peat smoke, orange peel and vanilla sweetness. On the palate peat returns with a barbecue note, black pepper and deep sherry influence, and the finish balances sherry, peat and spice.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
