Torabhaig Sound of Sleat Batch Strength is a peated single malt Scotch whisky in a 75cl bottle, bottled at batch strength.
The nose opens with smoke, brine and sweet oak spice, with fragrant tobacco, orange barley sugar, apricot and seaweed behind the peat. The palate is big but elegant, with zesty oak spice, bonfire embers and a waxy mouthfeel, alongside sweet vanilla, white pepper and a little oriental smoke.
The finish is long, with a youthful, fiery kick, then spice, capsicum and a coastal note.
