Torabhaig Sound of Sleat is the fourth chapter in the Torabhaig Legacy Series, a single malt from the distillery on the Isle of Skye. It is named after the Sleat area where the distillery stands and the stretch of sea in front of it that separates Skye from the mainland. The label artwork is by local artist Ellis O'Connor. The malt is made from concerto and laureate barley, with peating of 78+ppm in the grain and 14.5ppm in the glass, fermented with pinnacle mg+ yeast. It was matured entirely in American oak (Quercus alba) and bottled at 46%, without chill-filtration or colouring. The style explores the elegant side of peat.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
