This is the fourth release in the Torabhaig Legacy Series, a limited edition from the Isle of Skye issued in June 2025. Its name refers to the Sleat area around the distillery and the Sound that separates Skye from the mainland.
It is made from Concerto and Laureate barley, smoked to 78+ppm in the grain and measuring 14.5ppm in the glass. It was matured in American oak casks and bottled at 46%, non-chill-filtered and without added colour.
The nose is apricot and honey with subtle sweet pipe tobacco, a little salt and orange. The palate brings sweet bonfire smoke, vanilla, honey, beeswax, brine, white pepper, seaweed and marmalade.
