Torilan Merlot Cabernet Alto Adige DOC (13.5%)

A red wine from Terlano under the Alto Adige DOC, blending Merlot and Cabernet into a balanced, measured profile. In the glass it shows a medium-intensity ruby colour. The nose opens with ripe red fruit, vegetal hints and delicate spice, remaining fresh and composed. On the palate the tannins are present yet well integrated, with acidity supporting the sip and keeping it drinkable. The finish is discreetly persistent, leaving fruity traces and light herbaceous notes. It suits dishes of medium savouriness such as roast meats, aged cheeses that are not too pungent and traditional local cooking. Serve at a moderate temperature and consider opening it in advance to allow oxygenation.
