This Tormore 24 Year Old is a Speyside single malt distilled in 2000 and matured in a refill American oak hogshead. Gordon & MacPhail selected it for the Connoisseurs Choice range and bottled it at a natural 56.2% ABV, non-chill-filtered and without added colour.
The nose brings mandarin zest, ripe green apple, caramel and toasted almonds, with mango and floral touches. On the palate, creamy vanilla and honey meet milk chocolate and lemon cake, followed by tropical fruit. The finish is of medium length, with dried banana and toasted oak.
