Tormore – 29 Year Old 1995 - 1st Fill Oloroso Sherry Hogshead #20196 - Bedford Park is a single malt whisky from Tormore (Speyside). Aged 29 years, bottled at 43.6% ABV, 70cl. Founded in 1958 and designed by renowned architect Sir Albert Richardson, Tormore is one of Scotland's most visually distinctive distilleries. Now owned by Elixir Distillers, it produces a fruity, grassy Speyside spirit often used in blends but increasingly appreciated as a single malt. Tormore is undergoing significant revitalisation aimed at elevating its profile among whisky drinkers. This is a 29-year-old single malt from the Tormore Distillery. Distilled in 1995, this whisky spent the majority of its life in a refill hogshead before being moved into a first-fill Oloroso sherry hogshead in 2023. Representing the dark-squared bishop, “Bc2” is the third limited edition release in the Chess series.
