Toro Centerba Forte (70cl, 70%)

A robust, aromatic Italian liqueur from Enrico Toro, capturing mountain herbs from the Abruzzo Apennines. It is made by macerating over 100 aromatic herbs in pure alcohol, followed by distillation. The nose shows intensely herbal and balsamic notes of mint, thyme and pine. On the palate it is enveloping and persistent, balancing alcoholic warmth with herbal freshness and a refreshing, almost medicinal character. It is suited to drinking after a meal as a digestif and can be used in cocktails, with careful dosing due to its strength.
