A red wine from Torrevento, made in the Salento area. It has an intense ruby red colour with violet tones.
The nose offers mature red fruits such as cherry and plum, with vanilla and black pepper from wood ageing. On the palate there is a balance of acidity and well-integrated tannins, giving a solid, persistent structure.
The finish is long and aromatic, with liquorice and tobacco. It pairs well with grilled red meats, game dishes and aged cheeses, and is best served at about 18°C.
