Torrevento Passione Reale Puglia Rosso IGT

A red wine from Puglia made with a light appassimento of the grapes, concentrating sugars and aromas for greater intensity and complexity. It is intense ruby red with reflections tending to garnet over time. The nose is rich and enveloping, with ripe fruit such as plums and cherries, sweet spice and a light vanilla note from wood ageing. On the palate it is structured and balanced, with soft, well-integrated tannins and a long, pleasantly persistent finish. It pairs with roasts, red meat dishes and aged cheeses.
