Town Branch Rye Whiskey (75cl, 50%)

Town Branch Rye Whiskey is a straight Kentucky rye from Lexington Brewing & Distilling Co., the distilling arm of the Alltech Lexington brewery. It is bottled at 100 proof, or 50% ABV, in a 75cl bottle, without chill filtration. The mash bill is high in rye: 90% rye, 5% corn and 5% malted barley. The distillery blends barrels averaging around seven years old. The notes describe bold rye spice of cinnamon, clove and black pepper over caramel, vanilla and toasted oak. The finish is warm and lingering, with dried fruit and cocoa.
