Trail's End is an 8 year old Kentucky straight bourbon finished in Oregon oak, a small-batch bottling at 45% ABV (90 proof) in a 750ml bottle. It is non-chill filtered.
The nose is floral, with honeysuckle, apricot, spearmint and orange blossom, alongside roasted hazelnut, cereal sweetness and chocolate.
On the palate there is sweet malt and chocolate, toasted hazelnut, tobacco and a touch of rye. The finish is long and warm, with an oily, buttery texture, malt spice and a slight note of char.
