This is a Navy Strength Jamaican rum from Worthy Park, bottled at 57% in a 70cl bottle as part of the Transcontinental range from La Maison du Whisky. It was distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2017.
The rum was distilled and aged at the Worthy Park estate in Jamaica, then moved to Europe for a further year of ageing. Continental weather brings a slower maturation than the tropics.
Worthy Park lies in the Lluidas Vale in Saint Catherine parish. Its rum is made from estate molasses and distilled in a double-retort pot still from Forsyths in Scotland.
