This is a Jamaican aged rum from Worthy Park, distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2016 at 46% for the Transcontinental range from La Maison du Whisky, in a 70cl bottle.
Worthy Park Estate lies in the Lluidas Vale in Saint Catherine parish. Its rum is made from the estate's own molasses on a double-retort pot still from Forsyths in Scotland.
The rum was distilled and aged on the estate, then moved to Europe for further ageing. The continental climate allows a slower maturation than the tropics.
