Transcontinental Rum Line Worthy Park Navy Strength 4 Year Old 2012 (70cl, 57%)

A Jamaican rum from Worthy Park, distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2017 at a Navy Strength of 57% abv. It was distilled and aged at the estate, then moved to Europe for a further year of ageing, giving a 4 year old rum. The continental climate allows a slower maturation than the tropics. It is part of the Transcontinental range from the French merchants La Maison du Whisky. Worthy Park sits in the Lluidas Vale of Saint Catherine parish, where sugar is grown on the estate. Its pure single rum is made from estate molasses on a double-retort pot still from Forsyths in Scotland.
