Traveller Blended No. 40 is a Kentucky blended whiskey in a 75cl bottle, made as a collaboration between the musician Chris Stapleton and Buffalo Trace Distillery master distiller Harlen Wheatley.
Over 50 blends were sampled before Blend No. 40 was chosen as the final combination.
The nose is vanilla, aged fruit and buttery shortbread, rounded off by caramel and a touch of oak. The palate has a little sweetness, followed by spice, toasted nut and oak, leading to a robust finish.
