A white wine from Romagna made from 100% Trebbiano grapes grown on the Forli hills, on medium-textured clay-silt soils. The 1502 Da Vinci line in Romagna pays tribute to Leonardo da Vinci's journey through Romagna and interprets the territory through its typical grape varieties. The vineyards lie between 0 and 100 metres above sea level, with south and south-east exposure, trained as Guyot and spurred cordon. In the glass it is bright straw yellow. The olfactory profile is intense and direct, with yellow peach, broom flowers and fresh field grass. On the palate it is savoury, balanced between body and acidity, enveloping and pleasantly fresh. Vinification takes place cold in stainless steel at a maximum of 13 C with selected yeasts, followed by two months of ageing on fine lees with batonnage. Serve at 10 C, with grilled sardines, rocket and squacquerone with Romagna piadina DOP.
