Tremonti Piuttosto Macerato Trebbiano IGT

A Trebbiano IGT from Tremonti, made organically and described as rather macerated. Prolonged skin maceration gives the wine an intense straw colour with golden reflections and a firmer structure than a light white. The nose shows white-fleshed fruit, light citrus notes and a delicate trace of dried flowers, with subtle spice and an oily profile from the maceration. On the palate it is lively, with softened tannins bringing savouriness and persistence. It suits structured fish dishes, light soups, grilled vegetables and fresh or soft cheeses. Serve moderately cool in wide glasses.
