Trentangeli Aglianico Castel del Monte DOC Biologico

Trentangeli is an organic red wine from Tenuta Bocca di Lupo, made from Aglianico under the Castel del Monte DOC. It shows a deep ruby colour, with aromas of dark berry fruit and moderate tertiary notes. On the palate the tannins are present but not intrusive, and the structure feels compact rather than explosive. It suits medium-structured dishes such as roast meats, savoury ragù and aged cheeses that are not too intense. Serve around 16-18 °C; a brief rest before serving may help the aromas open.
