An 11-year-old Ardmore from the Highlands, bottled by Tri Carragh at a cask strength of 59.8% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2025 from a single cask, with 221 bottles, natural in colour and non-chill-filtered.
The cask was a second-fill ex-Laphroaig barrel, which adds an Islay influence to Ardmore's peated Highland style. The bottling won a Grand Gold Medal at Spirits Selection 2025.
The nose has light peat smoke like glowing embers, then vanilla, lemon, pineapple and buttery pastries. The palate is sweet and smoky, with the pastry notes growing stronger with water. The finish is long.
