Tamnavulin 12 Year Old is a sherry matured single malt Scotch whisky from Tri Carragh, an independent bottler based in Edinburgh under the parent company name Stravaig Spirits.
The name is a tribute to a Gaelic phrase meaning "three pillars", honouring water, barley and yeast, and it is pronounced "tree-ka-rah". The founders, Ryan McCafferty and Ola Lopatowska, also own the brand Glenlaird Scotch Whisky and help others source and bottle their own casks.
