Tripel Karmeliet (6L, 8.4%)

A Belgian beer from Brouwerij Bosteels, made with a combination of wheat, oats and barley. It has an intense golden colour and a creamy, persistent head. The aroma ranges from citrus and exotic fruit such as pineapple and banana to spicy coriander and clove. On the palate malt flavours blend with fruity notes and a light vanilla touch, finishing long and balanced by a pleasant bitterness. At 8.4% it is full-bodied yet refined, suited to aged cheeses, white meats and more structured fish dishes.
