Trump Blanc de Blanc Brut is a Virginia sparkling wine made entirely from estate-grown Chardonnay in the Monticello AVA, on the foothills of Carter's Mountain near Charlottesville. It is made by the traditional method, with a second fermentation in bottle.
The grapes are hand-picked at night and gently pressed. The base wine is aged in stainless steel and neutral French oak, and a low dosage keeps the Brut style crisp and dry. It is 12.5% ABV.
Green apple and fresh citrus lead, over brioche and yeast notes. The mousse is creamy with bright acidity, and the finish is long and elegant.
