Tullamore D.E.W. is a triple distilled blended Irish whiskey, bottled at 40% ABV. It brings together golden grain, pot still and malt whiskeys, and it is matured in Oloroso sherry and old bourbon oak casks.
The name comes from the initials of Daniel E. Williams, who worked at the Tullamore Distillery in County Offaly, established in 1829.
It is a mild blend with spicy, lemony and malty notes and charred wood undertones. The flavour is soft, buttery and rounded, and it lingers in the mouth.
