Tullibardine – 15 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky (75cl, 43%)

Tullibardine 15 Year Old is a Highland single malt in a 75cl bottle, bottled at 43% ABV. Every drop was distilled after the distillery reopened in 2003, at the foot of Perthshire's Ochil Hills. It matured entirely in first-fill ex-bourbon casks, which gives a creamy mouthfeel and pronounced vanilla sweetness over the natural fruit and floral character of the spirit. The distillery's notes describe dried hay, parma violets, baked apple, cloves and vanilla ice-cream on the nose. The palate brings freshly baked scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream, and the finish is subtly nutty.
